[dropcap2 variation=”coffee”]J[/dropcap2]esus heals. He gives life to what was once dead. He opens blind eyes and drives out evil.
This is what Jesus does in Matthew chapter 10. The crowds are amazed. The Pharisees, threatened by such love, power, and authority decide that he is demon-possessed. We tend to be terrified of what we do not understand.
And Jesus still heals. He is here, and he knocks on your door today. What is broken in your life? Where do you need his healing? Do you dare come to him and ask?
What part of your life feels dead? If Jesus lives in you, then you are alive. Yet, like Lazarus, some grave clothes still cling here and there. What would it look like for you trust Jesus to bring his life into your darkest places?
Where do you tend to be blind? Don’t be afraid. Jesus always sees accurately. Lean into him.
Be quiet. Listen to your heart. Tune into Jesus. What is he saying to you today?
