“Hello, Gary. It’s so good to see you!” she’ll say, often planting a kiss on my cheek.
One day Louellen tilted her head back and broke out in a huge grin. “Sometimes a wonderful thought crosses my mind. Why shouldn’t today be the day I meet my Maker? Oh Gary, I just can’t wait,” she exclaimed, with all the wonder of a giddy little kid anticipating a spectacular party.
Delight has invaded Louellen’s heart. She lives with unbridled joy, leaving guilt, shame, anger, and fear far behind. She is focused, intentional, and lives with great purpose.
Louellen is one courageous lady. I’m so honored to know her.
