Yep.
Good things take time, don’t they? Mediocrity is easy. You don’t have to do anything to drift there. Excellence is hard. It takes planning and work. But it’s worth it.
“It’s interesting how everyone wants the best, but so few are willing to give it,” Dale continued.
Yep.
We’re created in the image of God. He is excellent. What he makes is excellent. He created us to reflect his excellence. When we give our best, something in us comes alive. It fuels the fire for greater things.
When we live half-hearted, we feel burdened. Mediocrity evokes shame. We slink away and hide, often blaming others for the mediocrity we choose. We don’t do well when we refuse our God-given potential.
“We stop ourselves. We quit. We wait for someone else to do it,” Dale said.
“I wish I had done more, and done some things differently. That’s water under the bridge now. What does it mean to give my best today? That’s the question,” he said.
Yep.
The world needs us. It’s time to give our best.
Question of the Day: What keeps you from giving your best? Knowing what stops us can be key in helping us go to new levels.
