[dropcap2 variation=”coffee”]W[/dropcap2]hy is there so much suffering in the world? How can a good God allow such pain and agony?
There are logical arguments and answers to these questions. But the topic of pain and suffering is highly emotional. Logic is insufficient and cold in the face of tragedy.
Jesus meets us in our suffering. He is no stranger to pain. Misunderstood, hunted, and betrayed. Accused, judged, and falsely convicted. Mocked, beaten, and tortured. Whipped, exposed, and crucified. Murdered.
He knows. He’s concerned. He feels it. Perhaps he still weeps.
He walks with you in your pain. He will lead you through. He promises an end to it. He vows to turn it into something beautiful.
Look full into his face today. What’s He saying?
