Yet, Neda would pop off with some of the most amazing, random statements.
Once she pointed a long finger at me and said, “You’ll be goin’ along thinkin’ you know somethin’. Then you wake up and find you don’t know nothin’!”
We think we know something, or someone. Then something happens. Life throws a curve ball, and we’re caught totally off guard.
Ugh!
How could such a thing occur in our well-planned, well-controlled world?
Let’s face it. We don’t know what today will hold. We’re going to get surprised. What if we responded to life instead of trying to control it?
That takes some humility. And humility requires courage.
